United Technical Services did a great job for us as a specialty welding contractor by providing qualified welders and orbital welding equipment for a difficult project with an aggressive schedule at a utility located in Georgia. This specific project was originally awarded to another specialty welding contractor that was removed from the site four days after they mobilized due to performance issues. United Technical Services was able to bring in personnel and equipment to start working in twenty-four hours and had all personnel there to cover two shifts in forty-eight hours, as promised. They took over the work previously started by others and were able to complete the remaining scope in the time allotted with zero weld defects or safety issues. Welding was done both manually and with automated orbital equipment due to access issues and type of material.
We have utilized United Technical Services multiple times over the last couple of years to support projects with great success. Based on our experience, I would recommend to anyone that they give them an opportunity to perform work on their behalf.
