HR/Recruiter

Full-Time – Charlotte, North Carolina

Company Overview:
United Services Group, LLC is looking for an energetic and hardworking team player to join our growing team here in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking an individual to fill our open HR/Recruiter position. Individuals must have a strong work ethic, handle a fast-paced work environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously (this is a MUST). The qualified candidate will be responsible for obtaining field craft and overseeing the hiring process for field workers within the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and can determine a candidate’s potential through clever questions. They should have excellent organizational skills to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Attract qualified craft workers to apply to open field positions.
  • Maintain and develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions.
  • Conduct interviews via phone or in person.
  • Processing of employee applications, ensuring high-quality candidates.
  • Source qualified candidates through various technology platforms.
  • Serve as contact person for questions from candidates and field craft.
  • Liaise with department managers to ensure all open positions for craft workers are filled.
  • Recommend other recruiting and sourcing tools and sources to generate a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Manage candidate replies and recruitment.
  • Handles discipline and termination of field employees per company policies and procedures.
  • Time reporting from field projects to the accounting department.

  • Proficient in Microsoft (excel, office, outlook, word, etc.)
  • Preferred candidates will be those who have skilled trade experience and management skills.

The job is full-time, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with a 1-hour lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM). However, this position requires work after hours often.  Many calls will be made after 5 pm and on weekends. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and paid company holidays after a 90-day probationary period.
