United Services Group holds the ASME “S symbol” stamp to design, fabrication, assembly, and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel components of Power Boilers.
Additionally, we hold the ASME “U symbol” stamp to fabricate and assemble pressure vessels in both the field and in-shop applications.
Lastly, we hold the National Board “R symbol” stamp for the repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items.
Our Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina has a weld test facility featuring eight testing booths equipped with high-grade domestic materials. Our quick turnaround puts certifications in your welder’s hands so we can get them deployed to work on your job-sites.
Our certified and experienced personnel can qualify your welders, welding operators, and welding procedures to specific code or to your client’s specifications. Once your welders have completed the test weld, we use destructive and non-destructive weld test to determine the welds meet the specified standard and quality.
Once the welder has achieved an acceptable result they will receive a welder test certificate (WPQ). We can certify our welders in ASME, API, or AWS or customer-specific standards.
