Nathan Lee

Nathan Lee is currently the Director of Human Resources and Recruiting at United Services Group. He joined United Services Group in 2018, bringing his welding, project management, and job leadership ability to various positions during his time with the company.

Currently, as our Director of Human Resources and Recruiting, Nathan manages all manpower and project support at United Services Group and its subsidiaries. He works directly with our craft personnel, getting them set up for in-processing, arrival to job sites, and managing all aspects of personnel management in the home office.

Additionally, through his years of welding and on-site vendor relationships, while managing projects, Nathan works closely with our business development team, helping acquire new business leads and competitively quoting incoming projects.

Before starting with United, Nathan built a reputation in the power industry over the last ten years first as a welder, and foreman, and later as a Project Manager on various projects throughout the United States.

Before joining United Services Group, he sharpened his craft as first a Welder, then a Foreman, and later as a Project Manager with various companies throughout the United States. Through these experiences, he was able to grow his welding expertise and project management skills while working on various outages and emergent projects throughout the United States.  These experiences led him to United Services Group where he became a full-time welder with the company in 2018.

As a welder, Nathan built a reputation for having a strong work ethic, remarkable welding experience, and leadership skills on the job sites he worked. These skills along with the aspiration to lead field projects led him into a Project Management role with United Services Group in 2021.

Through this position, Nathan built key industry relationships with individuals, companies, and power plant leaders within the industry. He has successfully supervised the completion of outage and emergency welding projects, and coordinated manpower, project deadlines, and work orders for United Services Group’s customers over the last 15 months.

Through his hard work and dedication to United Services Group, Nathan was presented with an opportunity to coordinate our manpower efforts from our home office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Owners Josh Armstrong and Stephen Gillman saw a tremendous opportunity for Nathan to step in and help advance our Human Resources and Recruiting efforts.

Nathan, a native of Deep Run, North Carolina, currently resides there with his wife and dog. In his free time, Nathan loves spending time with his family, as well as riding his motorcycles.
